What gets written and why
Topics come from real search demand. I look at what people are actually typing into Google about dating, messaging and apps, and I write about the questions that come up repeatedly and are answered badly everywhere else.
I do not write about a topic just because it gets traffic. If I have nothing useful to say on something, it does not get published.
Sourcing
Where a claim can be checked, it gets checked.
- Research is cited by the researcher’s name, not attributed to vague “studies” or “experts”
- App features are described from the app itself and its official documentation, not from what other blogs say about it
- Anecdotal material is labelled as anecdotal. If something comes from a conversation with a friend rather than from research, the article says so
- Quotes are never invented. If you see a quote on this site, someone said it
What is not on here
- No fabricated author personas
- No made-up credentials or qualifications
- No invented statistics
- No medical, legal or financial advice
- No content about anyone under 18
Updates and corrections
Dating apps change constantly. An article about how a Hinge feature works can be wrong within months.
Published articles get reviewed and updated, and the updated date is shown at the top of the page when it differs from the original publication date. If a correction is significant, it is noted in the article rather than quietly changed.
If you spot something wrong, email me at [email protected] . Corrections are made quickly and I will not argue with you about it.
Money
Some links are affiliate links and the site carries display advertising. Commercial relationships have never determined what appears in an article. No dating app or product has paid for coverage on this site.
